How to Book an Appointment with a GP

  • During the CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC - All GP and nursing appointments remain Face to Face consultations.  Telephone appointments will be offered to patients who are exhibiting symptoms of Covid or are self isolating.
  • Same day morning emergency appointment - ring at 09:00am to book an emergency appointment – allocated on a first come first served basis.  Also available for Online booking.

  • Pre-bookable appointments - ring anytime between 08:00 and 18:30 to pre-book up to 4 weeks in advance. Please try to avoid the busy times of 9am and 1pm as same day emergency appointments are booked during these times.

  • Same day afternoon emergency appointment - ring at 13:00pm to book an emergency appointment – allocated on a first come first served basis. These can also be booked Online.

If you require a doctor in an emergency you should ring the usual surgery number. The receptionist will try to accommodate any genuine emergencies and arrange for you to be seen by a GP. An emergency is a medical or social problem, which requires immediate and urgent attention.

If all our emergency appointments are booked you will be accommodated at the Hub practices. Please ask the receptionists for details about these appointments.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
